ORTEC’s products result in optimized fleet routing and dispatch, vehicle and pallet loading, workforce scheduling, delivery forecasting, logistics network planning and warehouse control.

Besides our products we offer tailor-made solutions for our customers. We are experienced in areas such as: predictive maintenance and asset management, operations and supply chain analytics (i.e. sales and operations planning/optimization), HR & customer Analytics (i.e. dynamic pricing, revenue management, chatbots).

Working at ORTEC
Since our founding in 1981, we have grown to employ over 1100 people at locations in Europe, the United States, Australia and Brazil. Most of our employees began working with us after completing their studies. The company’s organizational structure is flat, with short lines of communication. The atmosphere is open and informal, which forms an excellent basis for a productive working environment.

ORTEC’s Field Services facilitate cost-effective appointment scheduling. Help your customer see the value we bring through our software solutions with this new Optimization Game, a service provided by the Global Operations team.
This Game takes place in the ORTEC Solutions Portal and is guided by a video tutorial. The player must schedule all appointments in a cost-effective way in just 20 minutes, without violating the restrictions. Our customers will see how difficult it is to manually plan an entire field service team, considering a wide range of data for personnel skills and task determination. ORTEC has been a leading player in Advanced Scheduling for decades and our Service Planning solution will demonstrate it when comparing the manual planning results with the automatic planning benchmarks.
